James Robinson Taylor has once again improved and refined his well known yachting image database. There is no quicker way to find exactly the image you’re looking for. The site has 94,000 images and 170 events, continuously updated.
While all Event images are searchable by event and boat name, the images in the Archive can be searched by twenty different criteria! Along with the obvious designer, rig, and year, what is exceptional is that you can also use both environmental descriptions – wind strength, light, sea state, etc and image framing descriptions – how much of the boat and from what angle, to find whatever you have in mind.
The revamped database now reloads after each request – no more guesswork, immediate results.
Looking for a shot of yourself aboard the 8-Metre Iroquois in Helsinki in 2002 (or just want to relive the memories)? Need Herreshoff schooners in a breeze with a clear sky? Type 5 America’s Cup boats (IACC) close-ups (detail), backlit in light wind? Now it’s a snap!
Ordering for personal use is a breeze too, now with a cart, order status and history.
New graphics, tablet and smart-phone ready.
And there are no clerks in the store – you deal directly with James for everything (for better or worse). No recorded messages either.
