Cara

Cara was built in 1977 using Des Townson’s drawings for his yacht Dreamtime. As Des is quoted as saying in the recently published book “Des Townson – A Sailing Legacy”: “Bruno Zanderigo built Cara from these drawings and that was a beautiful boat”.

Des also comments favourably on Bruno’s next boat, the 36-footer Azzurra, which the book notes was “drawn for close friend Bruno Zanderigo”, and which Des describes as “a superbly built boat and would be the best presented of all my boats.”

2020 for sale for $69,000 after 15 years of ownership.
