The 1904 Alexander Robertson design Elrhuna is in a partial restoration up in Scotland. Owned by the Watson family Hilary works away removing rotten runner fittings with his son Mungo also involved. Follow the progress on the yacht’s Facebook page.
If a traditional tool is needed then William McMillan’s are on hand which have been in the family for years. He worked in the William Fife boat yard from the mid 1920’s onwards. Although it’s not a complete set of tools many of them would have been used to build the beautiful Fife yachts that we love and sail today.
