Margaret

Margaret, Argentario Sailing Week, 2015 Ph: Guido Cantini
“In 1968 I had been sailing with M. Dumfries (“Fries”) Bannatyne on his 8m Margaret and we cruised from Crinan to Stornoway, returning via the Crinan canal to Clynder.
I have a series of slides, now digitised, of the cruise.

I have a copy of the typed log which Fries completed following the cruise.” Bob Byers

“……Fries Ballantine owned Yacht Margaret until 1977 ….sailed on her for 20 years … she was black!” – Catherine Shaw.   Nee Ballantine

Under Restoration

Margaret was restored at Cantiere Francesco Del Carlo in Viareggio, Italy in 2015 under the experienced eye of Enrico Zaccagni.
