Halloween

Commissioned as a fast cruiser Halloween came third in the 1926 Fastnet and even today still holds the course record around  the original course.    She later continued to race, in Bermuda, always placed in the top five boats, from 1954 to 1962.

Previous names include ‘Magda XII’ and ‘Cotton Blossom IV’.

She was originally restored at Mystic Seaport Museum and in 1993 restored again at Beconcini Shipyard in Italy.

She is a regular on the Mediterranean classic scene, sailing 13 regattas in the 2012 and 2013 seasons, and potentially 14 in 2014.

Under the ownership of an Irish syndicate and after 10 years of full-time racing in the Mediterranean Classic Regatta scene Halloween won the Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge Big Boat Trophy, 2017.
