Aramoana

Aramoana means “pathway of the ocean”.

Built for Gordon Pollard of Henderson & Pollard Timber merchants.  In 1989 she was given a major refit by Jim and Jenni McGlashan. They removed some of the changes that had been made over the years and restored her to her original condition.

2008

She is now owned by Chris Gudgeon and is based in Auckland.

2003 Programme2019

Aramoana, B 23, is currently owned by Andy Ball of Auckland

Her rig has been set back to the original design of Arch Logan that incorporates the use of a flying jib.
She has had some surprisingly good results in the A division of the Classic Yacht Association races in Auckland.
