Tarpon II

Tarpon II was designed and built in 1912 by Johan Anker for Mr Leonid A Nagornoff in St Petersburg. His purpose was to participate in the Stockholm Olympics, but he couldn’t participate in the sailing regatta in Nynäshamn. Mr Nagornoff flew from Russia to Finland in 1917, and he sailed actively on board of his Tarpon II until his death in 1959.

Tarpon II was sold in the middle of 1990´s to a gentleman in Norway.
