Purchased by marine surveyor Kathleen J Kilbey in November of 1984 for £13,000.
A keen sailor, Kilbey competed in most of the major RORC races over the years including the Fastnet Race in 1989.
“I purchased her from the Buck Family after the death of the former owner Christopher Buck. Richard Buck who owned the boat after his father frequently came sailing with us. We competed – albeit not very successfully, in the 1989 Fastnet and then competed in several year’s worth of RORC racing up until 1997, when she was sold.” Kathleen Kilbey
