Morwenna

Morwenna is a 45ft vessel based on the Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters. She is similar to the Pilot Cutter Mischief but has a different deck layout and interior. She is constructed of larch planking on sawn oak frames, Bronze and Copper fastened. The Oiled Oak and white painted pine make her interior light and airy, and she is designed to comfortably sleep up to nine persons.

The Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters were Gaff Cutter rigged, Sporting a large topsail, Staysail and Flying Jib. Her douglas fir mast and boom, were grown locally in the forest at Longleat. With her Pilot cutter pedigree, deep keel, low free-board and substantial Gaff Cutter Rig, she is a fast, comfortable and capable boat.
