Lawrence Of Arabia

Lawrence of Arabia spent her first 15 years on the Rhine in Germany, before moving to Lake Starnberg and the Chiemsee. Later still, she went to Lake Balaton in Hungary where she was restored in 1995.

In 2002, she joined the Munich Yacht Club after another restoration at the Rambeck yard on Lake Starnberg.

In 2004 and 2005, the sloop competed at Cannes and St Tropez (winning her class at the latter in 2005) before returning to Starnberg. Her owner Hanns Georg Klein, who also owns the 8-Metre Anne Sophie, has put together a team of people to race at classic sailing events.
