Designed for Andrew Gilmour McMeekin, she was his second 6mR and was the first 6mR class boat to fit a bermudan sail plan. She gained a total of 73 places during his period of ownership.
Subsequently she had another 9 owners – ending her Lloyds listing in 1959 whilst still on a Scarborough mooring on Crouch mooring. She was rumoured to have been shipped to a new owner in Greece in that year.
