Ghoster

Launched as the third ‘Refanut’ she was the most successful 10mR yacht in the Baltic from 1928-1939 under the ownership of Jacob Wallenberg. She was a light air boat affectionally called “den gamla sloddan” eller “the old slopper” due to her tendency to take on water in rough weather.

After the new (current) Refanut was built, the R10 was sold to Jacob’s nephew, Henry, who renamed her Rendez-Vouz. He sailed her until 1968 when she was sold to England and renamed Ghoster.

Her current owner(2015) bought her in 1976 and brought her back to Denmark. During the 1980’s she was converted to a ketch and since has been cruised extensively.
