In the warmer months, when she is not sailing, the graceful ketch Araminta lies on a mooring off the Museum waterfront.
The 33-foot boat was intended for daysailing in Maine waters, and her ketch rig, with the smaller sail aft, made her quite maneuverable and easy to handle. Since joining the Mystic Seaport fleet, the boat has been made available for day charters with a licensed captain.
