Acrobat was built by Cardnells of Maylandsea in 1969 and is one of the last all wooden Twisters. Typical of the Cardnells’ boats she has the pretty raised coachroof, which gives improved headroom below.
She has been well maintained throughout her life, including a major refit in 1993, when her spars, engine, winches and sails were all replaced.
