Panerai’s last regatta of the year, the popular Regates Royales in Cannes, has attracted 90 classic yachts that range from the 55 metre Herreshoff schooner Elena to a 27′ folkboat. On Day 1 the fleet waited for the mistral breeze to make its way round the corner from the Gulf de Lyon and the fleet took off for 2 laps around the bay at 13.00.
