Eilean used for watch launch

Panerai - The Regatta
Panerai – The Regatta

When a beautiful yacht, Eilean, is owned by a company such as Panerai then I guess it shouldn’t come as any surprise to use the 22-metre Fife ketch as the perfect platform to launch their new Regatta watch. Perhaps it makes sense as she follows on from her last star role in Duran Duran’s music video for the song ‘Rio’ back in 1982.

On this occasion ‘Eilean’ was filmed in the south of France during Cannes regatta last year, and the final cut was launched last Monday (21st January), strategically coinciding with the first day of the SIHH (The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie), an important Swiss fine watch fair.

To view the footage click here and select the Regatta watch at the bottom of the page (second one along) and press play.
