Wanderer III was made famous by Eric Susan Hiscock during two cicumnavigations in the 1950’s. In their book, ‘Around the World in Wanderer III’ the couple set out from Yarmouth, England(1952) and circled the globe by way of the West Indies, the Panama Canal, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the Ascension Islands and the Azores, returning home three years later.
