Skal

In the 1930 Newport – Bermuda Race she finished 11th out of 42 and weathered an 80-knot blow on her return.

She was the runner-up in the 1931 Transatlantic race to the Stephen’s Brothers now famous Dorade.

“She has undergone a complete and careful three year ( 2004 / 2006) refurbishment and               restoration at the Cantiere Hubert Stagnol shipyard (Benodet, France).”

“For her (new) first race in the “Belle Plaisance” 2007 ( France) , she came 1st in the Gaff rig class, cruising in excess of 10 knots…!!”

Skal can be seen in “articles of ‘RUDDER’, Yachting Magazine of 1930 /1931 and ‘Chasse-Marae magazine in 2004 , 2006 & 2007”.
