After the loss of the first Pride of Baltimore a second was built that was launched in 1988. She is the Flagship for Maryland and represents the old Baltimore Clippers that were privateers during the war of 1812. Her more accurate description of her rig is that of a 2 Masted Topsail Schooner.
In 2005 she was caught in a storm in the North Atlantic and lost her rig which she was being rebuilt in 2006.
