Pierrette

 

Built for Robert M Donaldson of the Clyde Iron Works.   She is a sistership to Mignon  and Yvette.   Had a bermudian rig in 1928 and was photographed in and around Plymouth (shown in black and white photo above – image to come). Likely to have been one of the first bermudian yacht in Plymouth where she had a small jib on a short bowsprit and also had running backstays.   She was acquired 3 years ago (in 2004) at auction` and was underwent restoration in 2007`.

She is now lying on the South Coast`.
