Nancy (US60), one of the truly great S&S 6-meter racing yachts. Nancy was designed to compete in the 1932 British-American Cup. That is likely Olin at the helm during that series, racing on the Solent and likely to be Rod in the pit.

The boat was built by Henry B. Nevins of City Island, New York. Her construction was very unusual: 1/2″ mahogany planking outside, 1/4″ spruce inside, both laid longitudinally and screwed together from the inside.

She makes her home in England and is still very actively racing today, 80 years after her original launch date.

Here is the sail plan.
