Janessa was the first Nicholson designed fibreglass production boat to be built (built for PC Nicholson) and she was the prototype for the Nicholson 36 class of glass fibre sloops. Janessa was such a success that Nicholson kept her to race.
In total 25 Nicholson 36’s were built.
