Submit Information on this Yacht
Built for the Americas Cup in 1962 she was one of the last 12-Metre yachts to be built out of wood. ‘Gretel’ was Australia’s first attempt to win the America’s Cup, and, to the best of my knowledge, the first 12-Metre Class boat designed in Australia, as well as Allan Payne’s first 12-Metre design. 2005 – restored in Argentario Shipyard, Italy.
Back in Australia in November 2012.
