First registered in Lloyds in 1950 (No 183948) as a West Channel One Design. Appears to have been 10th of a class of 11.
Falanda was owned first by Maj T W Gracey 1950-1953; won Class at Dartmouth Regatta in 1952; won Cruising Association’s Knights Cup for Single Handed Voyage also in 1952.
Re-fit in 2004/5 included renewed keel bolts, re-caulking of hull, replacement of planking as required, internal strip-out and re-fit.
