‘Triune of Troy’ was built for Lord Russel of Liverpool and the name ‘Troy’ came from a past Commodore of the Royal Fowey Yacht Club who often called the Cornish town of Fowey this ancient name.
She was saved from further deterioration in 1972 by Chris Elliott who had her restored.
In 1991 David Knights bought ‘Triune’ and races her regularly in the south coast regattas in the UK.
