Pioneer in the Stroo Channel (1942-1998)

Rescued from West Mersea mud in 1998 by the Pioneer Sailing Trust and after a six year rebuild was launched in Brightlingsea in September 2004.   She was built for dredging oysters and scallops offshore.

Now works as a sail training vessel for young people and still based out of Brightlingsea.
