Gabrielle II

“My grandfather owned Gabrielle II for some years in the mid-60s in Vancouver, British Columbia. The story goes that he met Mr. Reimers on an airplane whilst travelling in Scandinavia. At the time Mr. Reimers owned Gabrielle II.My grandfather offered to purchase it at that moment – the deal was struck.  This story might be apocryphal, but I could verify it as I have some records about the history of the boat.  It is accurate to say that he raced it in the Pacific Northwest and at least one Hawaii race.
