Originally built as a gaff 12-Metre to the First International Rule for Nils Persson to represent Sweden in the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games.
She won the silver medal while the gold went to the Anker & Jensen design Magda IX, but Erna Signe continued racing, winning Kiel Week that same year.
She was one of 10 Swedish Metre boats to compete at Horten in 1914 where she lost her mast in the last race.
She sailed in Denmark for 50 years.
In 1998 Ole Chr. Schrder bought her in a delapidated state. He had a complete restoration done to a high standard at the Walsted Yard, although she was not kept to the original design. She was given a bermudan rig, a new teak deck complete with a set of self-tailing winches.
