I am trying to check the identity / sail number of a boat that I own, that was once owned by Mr Douglas Vessey who is mentioned in the article about Little Otter, I would like to talk to the author to see if they have any knowledge of memories of my boat.
It seems my boat is the Flying Fifteen no 57 named Fly-A-Long she was made in Torpoint during 1956 by Aubbery Long.
She was originally owned by Mrs Nancy Stephens, in 1954 she married Mr Douglas Vessey. I think Douglas may be the uncle of the person who wrote the article ?
I bought the boat in 1994 from Paul Weychan, he bought her in the 80’s from Boating World near Saltash,
he does not know who the previous owner was.
I’m trying to establish where she was / what she looked like between when Mrs Stephens and Mr Vessey owning her from 1956 when she was made and when Mr Weycahn bought her in the 80’s
Any help would be appreciated.
