Based at the Albert Yard, Thetis Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Charles Sibbick designed and built over 300 boats between 1888 and his death in 1912. Many of these were small racing yachts termed raters, but he also designed and built many fast cruisers. About 20 of these boats are still known to exist.
